Hello everyone!  
For some of you, this logo may be very familiar- or some of you may have never seen it before.  For those who haven't, let's fill you in.  

This is Freddy.

Well, that's actually a fantastic caricature of Freddy- here's the 'real' Freddy

A cat in a bass drum?  You've gotta admit- that's a pretty rockin' cat :-)

My beloved Freddy has been gone for a few years now, but the business that bears his name,
Freddy's Rockin' Hummus, is still here- for now....

My name is Mark, and I started Freddy's Rockin' Hummus about 8 years ago. 

Freddy's is handcrafted small batch artisan Hummus made in Sharon Springs, NY, produced in the licensed NYS Inspected commercial kitchen that is part of my home.

As most businesses do, it started off small.  Freddy's debuted at one Farmers Market, then soon at another, then another, and...well, you get the idea :-)

Now at 6 Markets throughout the year and in 2 Co-ops, Freddy's has truly grown and become a
beloved product for many wonderful customers.  

But here's the problem- without your help, Freddy's might not be able to go on. 

Over the last few years, business has slowed down- and unfortunately the prices of everything
Freddy's needs has gone up.  Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Chick Peas, Fresh Lemons, and Fresh Garlic have all gotten much
more expensive, and it's become nearly impossible to keep the product cost down because of it.  

And down to the real nitty-gritty.  For the past four years, due to a medical tragedy that struck my significant other, I've been a home caregiver.  As a result of this, I can't supplement my income to
cover the bills- and the bills are starting to win.

The two vehicles that are used for the business are in desperate need of repair, Farmers Market
fees are behind, the production kitchen equipment needs to be replaced, school and property
taxes are way past due, utilities bills are behind, and until the Summer Market Season gets
underway, there isn't a way to pay for it all.  And without my home, vehicles and the rest, there will be no Freddy's. 

So I am asking for your help- to save Freddy's now and help provide a foundation for more
advertising and expansion in the future-but not without something in return.  Any contribution is so very greatly appreciated- and the more you give, the more you get!
