****** UPDATE on Franklin!******

After two trips to the animal hospital Frank is doing much better!

Initially, surgery was going to be our best option but the vet decided to put him on an IV overnight to see if they can get things to move first, trying their best to do what we can to avoid an invasive surgery (so its a lower cost to me, and less traumatic for him.) I didnt have much hope but miraculously, things have taken a turn for the better and we caught it early enough to avoid it!! The vet bills are still high but much less than they could've been (I was quoted for anywhere from 6,500-7,500 on top of the initial 1,600 of his first emergency vet visit.) I've changed my goal to better reflect the cost from his overnight stay. Honestly I wasn't expecting this, with still recovering from the loss of Link both emotionally and financially I didnt know what else to do but ask for help and I'm truly blown away by everyone's empathy and generosity I want to thank everyone for donating, sharing, and keeping Frank in your thoughts. I've cried at every single donation. I can't thank you enough!!

A few months ago I lost my cat of 12 years very suddenly. I wasn't prepared emotionally or financially. I was able to scrape by and cover that unexpected expense, however, I'm now having another veterinary emergency. My kitten, Franklin, needs an emergency surgery.

Last night Franklin started throwing up and not being himself. I ended up taking him to the emergency vet in the middle of the night where they discovered he has ingested something foreign, likely string, that is now passing through his intestines, causing plication (bunching). He needs a surgery to remove it for the greatest chance of recovery.

I'm really not one to ask for help but I've already lost one cat this year, I can't lose another. If you have any thing to give I'd be eternally grateful. Anything helps. Help me save Frank!
