Save Frankie: My Best Friend Is Very Sick

I adopted my goofy kitty Frankie when I needed her the most. This little brat swooped into my life and helped me through some really challenging moments of growth. Now, she needs help.

My 4-year-old tabby, and best friend in the entire world, Frankie, suddenly became very ill on Wednesday night. She went from a playful, healthy kitty to not eating or drinking, and being unable to walk without stumbling.

Yesterday they were able to rule out kidney disease, infection, or pancreatitis. They gave her fluids and vitamins, but she's only getting worse. There is a chance she's ingested a toxic plant, and the doctor is suggesting hospitalizing her for the night to give her the right care. All of which is beyond my means.

As some of you know, I, alongside the rest of my team, was laid off in January. I've been living off savings and optimism—none of which I can help my kitty with. After last night's emergency vet visit, and stretching last night's tests/treatment costs into credit cards, we still need more diagnostics to save her. If you have any amount to spare, even $5, $1, or a kind word, Frankie could really use the help right now.
