As the owner of Focus on Fitness, I have spent my life promoting fitness as the means to both physical and mental wellbeing. Now more than ever we understand the importance of this.
On May 18th, Governor Baker announced that gyms will not be able to open until Phase 3, with an unknown date. This announcement was truly disappointing. Our top priority has been preparing the club for a safe return for everyone, using the guidelines set forth by the CDC and the state. Focus on Fitness will open its doors once Governor Baker announces a date.
This extended delay in opening has put our fitness community at risk as we continue to have monthly expenses to cover — i.e. rent, utilities, equipment leases, licensing fees, liability insurance, etc. Some of you have reached out to me and expressed a desire to help. I truly appreciate all of the interest. If you would like to help, I have set up a GO FUND ME account under SAVE FOCUS. Thank you again for all of your encouragement and support. Stay well.
