My heart is broken. Yesterday, my best friend Flip, my sweet and loyal boy was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a terminal cancer that runs through the blood. He had been under the weather and getting worse. He started having more bad days than good and now I know why. Without treatment, his prognosis is 4-6 weeks. 

Although lymphoma is eventually a terminal illness for dogs, with chemotherapy treatment, that I cannot afford, the quality and duration of his life span can be increased exponentially. His treatment needs to start immediately to be most effective. It is a long and expensive process, but the most effective one available. He is only 7 years old and he has much more life and love in his spirit to share than his body can carry right now. I'd like to provide him with the care, comfort and kindness he has shown me and everyone that has ever met him. We need more time to finish his bucket list. A list beyond any corny movie or Subaru Commercial you have ever seen. 

Flip came into my life unexpectedly as a rescue situation. We formed a bond very quickly that is strong and unconditional in nature.  From the day I adopted him, I promised him I would give him the best life I could with what I had. I have done OK so far, but it is very important for me to see this through the best I can.

I humbly come to this forum, hat in hand asking for help. Not for me, but for him to finish his life in quality and dignity.
