Hi everyone,

My name is Chris, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beloved dog, Fleur.

Fleur is more than just a pet—she’s family. She’s been with us through life’s highs and lows, always offering her unconditional love, loyalty, and a wagging tail to brighten our darkest days. Unfortunately, we’re now facing one of the hardest moments yet.

A few days ago, Fleur suffered a terrible accident and broke her leg in three places. The vets have confirmed that the only way for her to regain the ability to walk—and live a pain-free, happy life—is through urgent orthopedic surgery. Without this surgery, her leg may never heal properly, and her quality of life would be severely diminished.

The Costs

The surgery Fleur needs is complex and time-sensitive. Between the procedure, X-rays, anesthesia, post-operative care, and physical therapy, the total cost is expected to be over £5,000.

We’ve already put down everything we can manage toward her initial vet visits and diagnostics, but the surgical costs are more than we can handle on our own right now. That’s why we’re turning to the kindness of others.

Why This Matters

Fleur is only 8 and full of life and has so much life left to live. She’s a gentle soul who loves belly rubs, sunbathing in the backyard, and greeting everyone with a goofy smile and a wagging tail. Seeing her in pain, unable to do the things she loves, is heartbreaking beyond words.
