As I approach 10.5 years in this cozy Ole Hanson historic home I am faced with a HUGE decision: purchase the property or close my doors. I was Blessed to have expanded our services and found this jewel of a location that holds the necessary space for the painting studio as well as the clay studio and kilns in the garage along with the patio space for parties and outdoor classes and it is my hope to continue to provide each of these opportunities to my community Forever! It was fate and the work of God and Universe that we were provided this location 10+ years ago. My Amazing landlords are ready to let it go and wish to pass it along to Fired Up. However this will take a great deal of funding for this hard working, community serving, artsy mama and it is my hope that you and yours could help me with this venture.
With a humble heart I can honestly say that I have manifested and created a home for every artist and budget big and small and it pains me to think of ending the traditions that have developed in so many from this community and those who visit from out of town every year. I have watched your Littles grow up and return for HUGs and First Dates, Clay Impressed your babies that are now graduating from High School, guided special needs Adults and Children in a safe and welcoming atmosphere, provided a creative environment for folks in recovery, helped create Memorable Holiday Gifts every year, and taught Potters Wheel classes to your home schooled students.
By no means am I asking for a free ride, just the help to boost me into a reasonable and affordable monthly payment scale so I can continue to serve the San Clemente Community and more without raising prices during this trying economic time. Please consider helping me at your earliest convenience so I can take the next step in securing a Forever Home for Every Artist Near and Far for Today and Always! Feel free to share this request and your experiences here at Fired Up as well as posting in your own social media outlets.
Gratefully yours,
Sarah Hopkin
