My name is Fatoumata Koumba, and today I am reaching out with a heart full of pain, fear, and hope.

For more than a year, I have been fighting breast cancer. This illness has slowly taken over my body, bringing constant pain and exhaustion. Some days, even getting out of bed feels impossible.

In the middle of this battle, I lost my husband and became a widow. Since then, my life has changed completely. I now live at my mother’s home, holding on to one overwhelming fear — the fear of leaving my children behind without their mother.

Every day, I look at my children and wonder how much time I have left with them. I want to live. I want to watch them grow. I want to be there to protect them, guide them, and love them.

Unfortunately, access to medical care is very limited, and I do not have the financial means to continue my treatment alone. Without help, it is becoming impossible to keep fighting this disease.

Life-saving medical treatment and medication

Hospital visits and medical examinations

Basic care and support during my treatment
