Hello folks, my name is Rick Nash, and our dog Esther is in the animal hospital with a rare but treatable GI tract emergency. Her albumin is at 1.0, which is very low, and the veterinarians are trying to determine today why she's losing this protein through the intestines. Esther is central to our family. She is my boy's best friend, and Esther is also our other dog Annie's best friend. She is also really important to me because she is integral to getting me up and out of the house for exercise/walks. She loves the whole family, and she is loved right back.

But now we need help. Her vet bills are almost 5k dollars, and as a disabled veteran, we just don't have this money.

My boys and I would be heartbroken if we had to have her euthanized.

So if you can help offset the cost of her care, it would be greatly appreciated.
