Hello my name is Eric Nava, I'm 27 years old and was enjoying a completely healthy life until December 9th of 2019 I suddenly felt sharp pains in my chest that quickly sent me to the hospital several times over a few weeks. Many tests were done and many doctors were seen but they couldn't find anything wrong even though my symptoms worsened. The nerve pain spread all over my body including my brain making me have extreme anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. The brain fog and fatigue made me immobile and not able to think clearly. I was in constant pain and fear for 2 months without any answers as to why besides "It's all in your head". Finally I found an unconventional doctor that suggested Lyme Disease and she was right. I started the typical course of antibiotics and had some improvements but not nearly enough to consider myself healthy or able to function normally. I continued to try other treatments looking for hope of health. I would make progress and feel better just to have a relapse of scary symptoms later on. I thank God for all the prayers and support I've had along the way keeping above water. This has been the hardest experience of my life making me want to give up at times but I just want the suffering to end and the healing to begin. Once I get healed I want to raise awareness and help the countless others who are suffering like me. I've found different doctors, tests and treatments that people have had alot of success with but much of it isn't covered by insurance so costs are high and I've not been able to work. I'm asking for any support you can give to help me and my family get through this time while raising awareness of this complicated and terrible disease that can ruins lives.
