It's coming to the end of another year of campaigning to protect the jewel beside our village, Knocksink Woods Nature Reserve and save Enniskerry Village.
It has been the culmination of a lot of hard work that has seen the campaign go to the High Court last May for a Judicial Review. This was because of the decision by An Bord Pleanála to grant planning permission for 219 units on lands at Parknasillogue / Kilgarron that slope down to Knocksink Woods Nature Reserve, in October of 2022. A decision is awaited.
