We never think we’d be in a position like this, but here we find ourselves..

Today asking for help to save the life of someone we love dearly.

Our sweet girl Endora (Eddie) Dawn has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a once-fatal disease that, until recently, had no cure. But today, thanks to groundbreaking antiviral treatments, cats like Endora are surviving. The catch? The medication and care needed are extremely costly and must be administered without interruption for 84 days.

Endora needs daily antiviral injections, frequent bloodwork, and ongoing veterinary care. The total cost of her treatment is estimated at $7,500, far more than we can manage on our own. We’ve had the chance to cover $4,500, mostly on now-maxed credit cards, although we’re still find ourselves in the thick of it.

Endora isn’t just our cat, she’s a comfort, our mischievous comic relief who doubles as our constant companion. She creates games for herself. amazing fearless for a cat her size. greets us at the door lively, like we’ve been gone forever, she chirps her opinions with unapologetic sass. She’s part of us, part of our lives & our family in every sense.

Watching her decline isn’t something we’d wish on any parent. while knowing a treatment exists, but being unsure if we can afford to finish it, is agonizing. We’re doing everything we can, but we know can’t do this alone.

Thanks to the generosity of another FIP Warrior parent, we were able to get Endora started on her medication right away. That act of kindness gave us so much hope, helped our baby and we intend to pay it forward.

Any funds raised beyond the cost of Endora’s treatment will be used to help other families facing this same terrifying diagnosis. No one should have to choose between saving their pet’s life and affording groceries or rent. No One.
