Save Elm Street House

My name is Lilly and I am the face behind the Elm Street House account. I bought this 1870s house in 2020 with the goal of gutting it and refinishing it to give it new life and help it stand for another 125 years.

I’ve documented the entire process of me completing all of the demo work myself and, through that process, many of you grew to love the house as much as I do.

Unfortunately, the current state of the economy coupled with changes in my personal life have lead me straight into a wall and it is no longer financially possible for me to finish this house on my own.

I was considering selling the house or delaying the renovation until further notice but the wonderful people of TikTok have come together and requested that I start this GoFundMe to assist with fundraising for the house.

No donation amount is too small and all funds raised will go directly into home renovations. Even if we only raise enough to fix the broken windows while we wait for the rest to work itself out, I would be over the moon.

All donations are appreciated but to make it worth your while, I have created some donation tiers that will allow you to leave your mark on Elm Street House.

If you donate at least $10, I will write your name somewhere in the walls, ceiling, or floor of the house so you are a part of Elm Street House forever!

If you donate at least $25, I will add a note from you to the time capsule that will be placed within the walls of the house for the next renovator to find years from now!

If you donate at least $30, you will receive both of the previous tier rewards.
