Please meet Elliott, our most recent surrender to MAIGR. In late February, Elliott broke his leg after jumping off the sofa. Unfortunately, his owner was not prepared for the costs or time required for the surgery necessary to save his leg. In an act of kindness, they made the difficult decision to surrender Elliott to Mid Atlantic Italian Greyhound Rescue, allowing us to provide the care he needs.

Elliott is undergoing surgery today, March 10, which is estimated to cost between $4,500 and $6,000. Additionally, his aftercare—including splint changes and X-rays—will cost another $600.
