My 2 year old pup, Ellie, was limping so we went to the vet to learn she has torn her CCL (a ligament in her knee). She needs a surgery to repair it or will risk further damage and pain. The appointment for the surgery is set for November 6th. The estimated cost is $5700.

I recently went back to college and I am only working part time, so I can focus on school. Her recovery after the surgery will be a few weeks and may also require me to take some time off of work to take care of her. This is going to be a major and unexpected expense and will set me very far back financially. Any help I can receive would be greatly appreciated and help ease the financial burden to keeping this young dog happy and healthy.
