Save Elaine From The Tax Man
Donation protected
Elaine K. attended Potomac Senior High School in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Many of my classmates will remember her whooshing by them with a smile and a hello on her run to her next class. As I look back on her then, I would consider her a "cruise director" candidate, always helping, smiling, concerned and involved with anyone and anything "Potomac" oriented.
Over the years Elaine has maintained that attitude and has been generous to others without regard for her own welfare.
Now, in her senior years her giving and helping spirit have been curtailed by Mutiple Sclerosis. Her health is compromised and she lives alone, Her closest family and friends are gone. She has no one to turn to for help.
Expenses related to her health and needs have put her in the precarious position of losing her home due to unpaid taxes. Her health essentials needed to survive daily with a chronic illness have exhausted the funds for the payment of her taxes. Elaine is now confined to a wheelchair and money was spent adapting her home to wheelchair accessibility.
Elaine has tried selling items to raise money but did not have the physical capability or monetary means of shipping items to be sold.
She has tried to acquire money for the taxes unsuccessfully through estate sales and private sales.
If Elaine is unable to pay her tax debt by October 30, 2018 her home will be foreclosed on and she will lose all of her cherished possessions and will become homeless, no living family members or friends are available to help her.
Please, if you can donate any amount to help save her home and keep her in it, she would be forever grateful. She has given to others and helped them throughout her life and now she needs an act of kindness to help her.
Can you help her out?
