Ehsan is a 38-year-old brother, son, and community hero. Right now, he’s fighting for his life.

The oldest of four siblings, Ehsan has always been the backbone of his family. After his father passed away, he became the main caretaker, supporting his mother and younger siblings both emotionally and financially. A self-taught software engineer, Ehsan worked at a prestigious tech firm, earning enough to keep his family’s home running and even helping neighbours in need.

However, just seven months ago, his life took a devastating turn. What began as mild kidney issues quickly worsened. Both kidneys failed, and he was forced onto daily dialysis. Now, even dialysis is no longer enough. His health is deteriorating fast, his body is swollen, he’s unable to keep food down, and his strength is fading. Doctors have made it clear: Ehsan urgently needs a kidney transplant, or he will not survive.

His surgery is planned at Surgimed Hospital in Lahore, with consultation and guidance from Dr. Adil, a kidney transplant specialist. The family has also worked with the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute & Research Center (PKLI) regarding the organ donation process and cost estimates. The total amount required, including organ bank fees, surgery, hospital bills, and post-surgery medication, is $50,000. Unfortunately, in Pakistan, medical insurance is accessible only to the wealthy, leaving Ehsan and his family with no support to cover this life-saving operation.

We have a narrow window - just over a month - before Ehsan’s condition may require intensive care. Every single day without surgery puts his life at greater risk.
