Help Bridge the Gap for the Webb Family...

In December of 2022 The Webb Family (Nate, Heidi, Madeline and Mercedes) took a leap of faith and began the process of moving their Interactive Experience called Earth Illuminated to Orlando Florida. This was an opportunity that they had been praying for and God called them to go and to trust. Projects they did in Colorado raised just enough funds to be able to move the exhibit with a projected opening date of March 3rd 2023. Many industry friends joined alongside the Webb's to meet the tight timeline needed to open. On March 2nd, after all of the work had been completed, and their operational staff had been trained, their design team called for final inspections... and everything stopped.

During the Fire Inspection, it was brought to light that the fire system and life safety items provided by the building owner were unable to pass inspection and would need to be brought up to code. At the same time, the HVAC system began to not function properly. These were promised to pass inspection by the building owner, so this put the Webb's in a very difficult situation.

March 3rd came and the Webb's found themselves unable to open Earth Illuminated to the public due to these issues which meant that the income they needed was non-existent. In addition, they had to inform their wonderful staff that they would not have work for an indefinite amount of time.

The General Contractor and the Building Owner worked with the Webb's to arrange a solution. The fire system needed to be fully replaced and the HVAC units needed major repairs. The county permit system informed them that this process would take between 8 and 12 weeks. In addition, all of the needed equipment was back ordered or in short supply and the roof began to leak (which the building owner also offered to get resolved).

In the following weeks, Nate, Heidi, Madeline and Mercedes had to be on-site almost daily to support construction teams and contractors or be on indefinite delays due to equipment shortages or permitting issues. In the meantime, debts are increasing due to the delays. Insurance, utilities, employees, regular business and personal costs continue while the income they had been planning on having is not coming in. They have used up all of their savings both personally and professionally, retirement funds and credit cards.

It has now been 12 weeks since they were supposed to open Earth Illuminated in Orlando and the work still has not been completed, the permits are still not approved, the roof is still leaking and they are unable to open. They have been told that it could be another 2-8 weeks before they can get open. They are too far invested to be able to pack up and move to another location.

It is not like the Webb's to ask for help, usually, they are the ones helping. This fund is to help bridge the gap for the Webb Family in this challenging time. If you can contribute $5 or more, and share about this fundraiser, this will bless their family immensely in this time of need!
