I'm raising money for my nineteen-year-old client E, who is detained and waiting to be deported after losing his asylum case even though he was threatened with death by gang members in his home country of El Salvador.  El Salvador is a tiny country roughly the size of Massachusetts and completely overrun by gangs.  Once E is deported, his life will be in extreme danger. 

This photo is of one of E's drawings.  He is a gentle, introspective, kind, intelligent, artistic, musical, athletic, religious, and very traumatized boy who has been dealt an extremely unjust hand so far in his short life.  I have been representing him for over three years and I love him very much.  He has been suffering terribly in detention since early this year and struggling to live through each day with the constant fear of being deported to his death, with no concrete end in sight until yesterday, when we received the cruel and heartbreaking decision ordering his deportation.

I know that E will be incredibly grateful, as will I be, for any support that you are able to provide him during this horrible time in his life.  All funds will be delivered to him once he is deported.
