Dua's message to the world:

"My name is Duaa. I speak to you not just as a mother—but as a human being clinging to hope.

I once had a home. It echoed with the laughter of my four children: Layan, Mira, and my twins, Luay and Lana. We had dreams, like yours. We had warmth. We had plans for the future.

But everything changed.

On October 7th, our dreams were turned into ashes. Our house—our sanctuary—was reduced to rubble. Now, we live in a torn piece of cloth they call a tent, under the open sky in Mawasi Khan Younis. My husband is unemployed. We have no food, no clean water, no power. No safety.

My children—my heart and soul—are wasting away before my eyes. Their laughter has been replaced by cries of hunger. Their innocence stolen by the sounds of bombs. We live like ghosts of the past, in a life stripped of dignity.

We are dying every hour.

I am begging you—not for pity, but for humanity. Please help us live. Give my children a chance to dream again. Give them warmth, a meal, a future. Help us reclaim the right to simply exist in peace.

From the depths of despair, I reach out to you:
