Dr. Alemayehu Shiferaw, who holds a doctorate in Applied Mathematics and has dedicated his career to Jimma University in Ethiopia as a Mathematics Professor, has been diagnosed with stage 4 liver cirrhosis, threatening to dim the light on this extraordinary individual. The urgency for a liver transplant looms large, necessitating travel to India for specialized care beyond what is available locally in Ethiopia.

Dr. Alemayehu needs a liver transplant. His university doesn't offer medical insurance.

He will need to fly to India (from Ethiopia) with his caretaker (wife) and a donor. This means flight, meals, and accommodation required for three people, for a few weeks.
