Dopey is our one-year-old pittie who desperately needs help. Over the past week, he has been experiencing severe, unexplained facial swelling. Antihistamines, steroids, and antibiotics have not improved his condition. Over the weekend, his worsening condition surpassed the scope of his regular veterinarian. He was taken to Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital for further treatment. Unfortunately, their CT machine is broken, so they were only able to alleviate his pain. On Monday, he was taken to NSCU Veterinary Emergency Hospital where we were quoted an additional $4,000-$8,000 for a CT scan and surgical correction. That estimate still only includes the initial treatment plan as he will potentially require additional services. Dopey is a young, otherwise healthy dog with so much life left to live. Please help us help him.
