We need your help!

We rescued Dooney from being euthanized in New Mexico and now she needs our community to come together for a life saving surgery. She has condition called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA)—a serious congenital heart defect that requires surgery. Dooney’s life-saving heart procedure will cost about $5,500 at CSU.

We don’t do big fundraisers often, but with Figs surgery last week (totaling at ~$4,700) we truly have no choice. She’s counting on the generosity and kindness of our Sunshine community to give her the chance she deserves. Every dollar brings her closer to the future she’s meant to have.

Dooney is a one of a kind girly, who at times looks AI generated. Despite her diagnosis, she’s full of light and spunk. She loves to be held, gives the gentlest kisses, and has already stolen every heart she’s met.
