Help Donut Get Life-Saving Vet Care

Meet Donut — a sweet, goofy, and loving pup who was rescued from being euthanized at Broward Animal Care. Thanks to an incredible community effort, we were able to save him just in time. He was severely underweight and stressed from shelter life, but since going into foster care, Donut has blossomed into a happy, playful boy full of life and love.

Unfortunately, Donut recently swallowed a piece of a dodgeball and is now sick — vomiting and in distress. We’re currently on our way to the vet, and he may need X-rays, an ultrasound, bloodwork, and potentially emergency stomach surgery to remove the obstruction.

Update- he is having the surgery tomorrow morning -5/15/25

As a small rescue, Blessed Paw simply does not have the funds to cover unexpected medical emergencies like this. We are asking for your help to give Donut the care he urgently needs. Any amount, big or small, makes a huge difference and goes directly toward his vet bills.
