Young mother and wife battling late-stage cancer

We are asking for donations to help my wife Divea Smiley who is now dealing with cancer for the 4th time in 10 years. Divea has been in remission on and off for the last several years since the age of 18 and has continued to overcome the emotional and physical battles of cancer.

Two years ago she was told that it would be unlikely she would ever have children and should be considered sterile. Then the unexpected happened and she gave birth to a beautiful and very healthy boy, our first son, ocean.

Over the last 8 years Divea and I have endured unimaginable adversity while I continued to work multiple jobs and support us.

We have had our cars stolen, our apartment flooded with sewage and black mold, struggled to pay for groceries and much more. Post birth Divea had a cancerous tumor grow on her back the size of a grapefruit.

The pain of that continued to take a toil on her but she was able to take care of the house while I was at work and take care of our son. Until recently the weight of that tumor caused her to lose temporary movement of her arm and she still has not recovered. We immediately started Chemo Therapy as well as other natural homeopathic approaches and since have seen the tumor shrink almost completely! However she still doesn’t have motor function of the arm. This has led us to lean on friends and family for many things.

The doctors have told us that even though it’s late stage cancer. She can make a full recover and we are both anxious for that day to come. So she can go back to being a full-time mom and live a full life.

Additionally I would like to be able to stay home with my wife, look after our son and ensure she gets the help that she needs. Your generosity so far has enabled us in ways that we are so grateful for and we ask for your continued support.
