We are reaching out for help on behalf of my mom and her beloved dog, Diva.

Late last night, Diva went into labor. Sadly, the first puppy was delivered stillborn. After waiting over three hours, her contractions completely subsided. We rushed her to the Animal ER, where they ran tests and imaging. The vets tried to restart her labor with three rounds of oxytocin injections, but unfortunately, nothing worked.

After being in labor for more than 10 hours and no further progress, Diva needed an emergency C-section to save her life and the lives of her remaining puppies.

As you can imagine, the emergency procedures come with a heavy price tag. The C-section alone cost $5,000, not including the other emergency care she received.

We are asking for any help you can offer to assist my mom in covering these unexpected and overwhelming expenses. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean the world to our family — and to Diva.

** update- Diva is out of surgery and in recovery. Only one puppy has survived, but not too stable. She has lost 3 of her babies :(**

Anoche, la perrita de mi mamá, Diva, entró en labor de parto. El primer cachorro nació sin vida y, tras horas sin progresar, tuvimos que llevarla de emergencia al hospital veterinario. A pesar de varios intentos para reactivar el parto, Diva necesitó una cesárea urgente para salvar su vida y la de sus cachorros.

El costo de la cirugía fue de $5,000, sin contar otros gastos médicos.
