Hi, my cat's name is Dillinger. He's a 13 year old gray Maine Coon Mix, adopted from Meow Rescue Shelter in Kirkland, WA. He's very fluffy and super friendly, with an epic love for life, a limitless passion for getting pets, and an heroic joy for chasing feather toys. Dillinger is a cat of many talents. His unconditional love for people is second to none.

 

Unfortunately, Dillinger has an unspecified and inflammatory autoimmune disease in his GI tract. I'm creating this fundraising page to request help to pay for Dillinger's medical treatment costs. After a series of health emergencies, the ultrasound this week showed evidence of a mass in his small intestine. Needle Biopsy results are inconclusive. Our vet has recommended a life saving surgery to remove and biopsy the intestinal mass. With an intestinal mass, surgery treatment is necessary to save the pet's life. The cost (ranging from $4,000 to 8,000) is too high for me to afford alone on a fixed income, although I know that I have a precious responsibility to protect Dillinger and I need to allow him to live the best life possible.

 

Because I am disabled, I live on a limited fixed income for my disability. Dillinger is my service animal, my life support. Currently, I cannot afford the high cost of the vet tests and future treatment. Therefore I'm grateful for the shining glimmer of hope presented by this special opportunity to create a crowdfunding page to kindly ask for donations to help pay for the high cost of medical care to save Dillinger's life.
