Dear Family and Friends,
I’m writing on behalf of my niece Dieverdin (Dina) Katrina Jose Garza, and her family as they need your prayers for a full recovery and help in raising funds for her treatments, medications, and hospitals expenses through her battle with breast cancer.
Dieverdin lives in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecijay, Philippines, and was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer at the young age of 31 years old. She is the loving wife of Rainier and mother to two children, Drei (10 yrs old) and Kira (6 yrs old). Dina is a kind-hearted, loving, and caring person to her family and friends.
Since being diagnosed with cancer in March 2019, Dina has survived surgeries and countless therapies through God’s grace and miracle healing. However, her cancer has since progressed and affected her health tremendously. She has been in and out of the hospital with unpredictable conditions, causing stress. She has been in bed due to severe back pain whenever she tries to move or stand up. Despite this, she continues to bare with the pain, weakness, and other ailments that have affected her health.
Currently, all her foods are given only through 1-2 bags of daily intravenous milk infusion that cost 9,000 pesos (USD 180), as well as other IV fluids for adequate nutrition and hydration due to difficulty eating from swelling in her throat. Also, she requires daily medicines that cost over 15,000 pesos a day (USD 320), not including hospital bills and doctor’s fees. At the moment, plans for chemotherapy have been postponed as her platelet count is too low and she is receiving blood transfusions for this so she can begin treatment.
We appreciate your generous and kind hearts to help us raise funds for Dina so that she can receive the treatment needed to survive breast cancer. Sharing this campaign is also a big help to us. Let’s fight cancer with her and win this battle together.
