I am writing to you from the heart of Gaza, where the night is more frightening than ever, and the days are the same: silence followed by an explosion, fear followed by crying.

My name is Dareen Mazen, a daughter with 4 sister, a mother with a cartilage and a father over 62 years old.

I'm an engineer with a great passion for software engineering from the heart of Gaza. I began my journey as a remote software engineer at a Saudi company, defying difficult circumstances and fighting for a better future for me and my family. Her dreams were simple and realistic: helping educate her siblings and working in her field of passion. A simple daily routine, yet filled with moments that made her feel content and happy

While we were in the Daraj neighborhood, they threatened the house we were in. My father, mother, sisters, and I went down. We didn't know where to go. We ran in the streets in the dark. As we walked, we were walking on rubble. We started screaming as we ran, and my father kept saying, "Trust in God, and give us strength." We found a hole! He said, "Be careful." We found a bombed-out house with martyrs inside. We walked over them. This is the first time I've seen this scene in my life. I've never seen it before, not even in horror movies.

Our home has been destroyed, we have lost everything, my mom was lucky enough to save our chidhood photos .. a memory of a simpler time.

In recent days, a morsel of bread has become a dream, and cold water is a wish. Famine creeps in silence, and pain dwells in homes without permission. We no longer ask for much, just a little life to survive.

My family and I are trying to stay, trying to keep some hope.

Your presence, your words, your support, all illuminate in us a bit of warmth amid this great destruction.

With your help, we will pay our entry fees to Rafah crossing into Egypt after the war to find a new life away from the blood and destruction.

I don't you know dear donar, but I thank you in advance and I wish you nothing but happiness and peace.
