Save Daphne Jo: Urgent Medical Help Needed
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Lauren, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sweet 3-month-old puppy, Daphne Jo. Recently, Daphne has been experiencing terrifying symptoms — seizures, trembling, and sudden falls. After multiple emergency vet visits, the doctors believe it could be one of two things: a liver shunt, which is treatable with surgery, or a degenerative neurological condition that could be fatal if left untreated.
So far, I’ve spent a little over $2,000 on emergency vet visits, medications, x-rays, ultrasounds, and bloodwork to try to find answers. The next steps to properly diagnose and treat her are costly — the MRI, CT scan, and spinal tap alone are expected to cost between $3,000 and $4,000, and if surgery is required to correct the shunt, it will be an additional few thousand dollars.
I want what’s best for Daphne Jo and to keep her as comfortable and healthy as possible, but in order to do that, all of these tests and treatments need to be done. Daphne is only 3 months old — she deserves a chance to grow up, run around, and live the long, happy life every puppy deserves.
The mounting medical costs are overwhelming, and I can’t do this alone. Every donation will go directly toward Daphne’s care — from diagnostics to treatments, medications, and surgery if needed. Even the smallest contribution helps us take another step toward saving her life.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing Daphne’s story so I can reach more people who might be able to help. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me fight for my sweet baby girl.
With gratitude,
Lauren
