In an effort to continue offering our hot suace to more people, and to help remain able to do so, this GoFundMe has been created.

I went from farmers markets to a store in a perfect location in a relatively short period of time. We ran the store, and I continued to handcraft all the sauces, for 7 years. Our daughter was born on the 1 year anniversary of our store being open, in 2016. After 2020 things got rough, and I weathered through it as best as possible. By 2022, I was exhausted, and I handed the keys over to the new tenant. The new operator in this state park continued to wholesale order from me which saved us from a lot of hardship. We became good friends.

Recently the state park property managers appear to be in the process of changing hands, and business there has been at a record low. With this looming over us, I may not be able to depend on this wholesale order anymore. We need to act and adapt to change.

There's 2 avenues out of disaster. One is getting the qualified barcodes that are accepted everywhere that will not limit my ability to sell to larger store chains. With new barcodes comes new labels, and that is where a hefty investment, at least for us, is required. We are looking at $8,500 to get the codes and get enough newly printed labels with these codes to satisfy a couple wholesale purchases and get us to a point where the sales sustain the cost of labels going forward. In addition, as my video describes, I will pursue providing cooked foods with our hot sauces on them via some sort of trailered or drivable setup. Both require an investment to get up and running. This will include another round of permits as well for prepared food.
