Save Daniel Mestas' Family Home from Foreclosure

My name is Daniel Mestas, father to 4 amazing children ages/gender 14f, 9m, 7m, 1.5m, and husband to a wife I probably don't deserve. We had our life flipped upside down this day last year. I suffered a complex crush injury to my arm from a UTV rollover accident while camping with friends during spring break. To put it simply, I'm blessed to be alive. I've had so many miracles, I've felt guilty asking for any other help. So many have offered, and I've been too prideful to allow many of them to help us. Many have forced us to allow help, and it was always much needed. I thought I'd get a prosthesis after my lower arm was amputated and I'd be back to work quickly. Well, a year later and I've still yet to go back to work full time. My wife is getting a job now, and thanks to a lot of previous remodel work I was able to do before the accident, our home has successfully been rented out and we are able to keep up with the mortgage. Unfortunately, because I'm not stable, my mortgage won't grant us a deferment or loan modification.

We have been given until May to pay the past due balance or they will foreclose on our home. This is a devastating hit after all the hospital bills, continued high insurance, and medical bills. I've been to the ER 8 times this year and admitted for a combined few weeks. In fact, I'm writing this in the ER as it's often the place I can get the most done in between relief from pain flare-ups. Both the bones in my arm have yet to heal, and I have loads of nerve damage getting worse. Unfortunately, I'm not a candidate for nerve surgery because of the associated risk from lack of blood flow. Orthopedic may do some additional work and grafting to mend bones, but we are waiting for additional CT scans. I've done all I can do and am running out of assets to sell. My pride has been stripped away as I reach out to my friends, family, community, and associates.
