Hello! My name is Dan Perez and I live in Houston, Texas with my dog Thor. We are in imminent danger of being homeless from the bank foreclosing on my house. I hope you can find it in your heart to help us save our home. Thank you so much!

I work as a certified hypnotist and my business has suffered in the years since COVID. I am only making a third of what I used to make and now I am behind on my mortgage and the bank is threatening foreclosure.

My biggest worry in becoming homeless is having to give up my beloved dog Thor. I rescued him in 2008. Thor had been abandoned by his original owners and was one thin and mangy puppy. I nursed him back to health and now he jumps six feet high at the back door to be let out to play in the yard. I also have some tropical fish to round out the family.

As a hypnotist I have helped hundreds of adults and children lead happier, healthier and more productive lives. I have given back to the community by offering pro bono work for people who needed help but had little money.

I am an artist (sculptor) and writer in my spare time. I am currently working on a vampire novel set in Houston. My sculptures have been featured in prominent Houston galleries.

I've made mortgage payments for 25 years and it's heartbreaking to realize that I may be homeless and have to give up Thor.
