Save Cygnet’s Street-Piano!

My name is Jo & about two years ago I rescued an old piano from outside the bakery in Mary St (Cygnet). I had it collected by a professional piano mover and I’ve arranged for her storage since then. But this piano - it seems to me - belongs to the community. I am merely her custodian. It would be great to have her made playable & for a home - in the community - to be found. I’ve sought advice & she is well worth saving & her ebony case would look a treat with a spit & polish. I’ve ascertained we need to raise about $2000 - $3000 to have her hair & nails done & floof her dress! She’ll never be a concert diva or play with the Berlin Philharmonia when they next drop by Cygnet but she’s a lovely old girl with plenty of spring left in her step, a thousand stories to tell & many songs left to sing! She has brought so much joy in the past & is patiently waiting to be broken out of piano-jail. Please help us get her glad-rags on & dress her up for a few more turns around the dance-floor?
