Cosa è CUBOTTO?

CUBOTTO è un fantastico van camperizzato Mercedes modello Van sprinter 99 chrysler.

CUBOTTO ha mosso i suoi primi passi in terra tedesca, per poi approdare nella penisola italica nel 2020. Ne ha fatta di strada per arrivare fino a noi, con ben 3 targhe diverse e molti scartoffie burocratiche da firmare.

Non è un semplice van, ma ha subito un grande make up diventando a tutti gli effetti un van camperizzato: quelli fighi che si vedono in Instagram.

 

 

 

Chi ha costruito CUBOTTO?

A vederlo sembra proprio uscito così da una concessionaria e invece NO. Solo due pazzi come i miei due amici Marta e Joffry potevano realizzare uno spettacolo simile. Marta, traduttrice itinerante e Joffry, mastro legnaio ed ex giocatore di basket, hanno realizzato tutti gli interni, investendo tantissime ore, risorse e soldi in questa fantastica opera. Il loro sogno? Portare CUBOTTO in Finlandia a vedere l’aurora boreale, perché sì, anche i cubotti hanno dei sogni nel cassetto!

 

 

 

Come sta CUBOTTO?

Non tanto bene: CUBOTTO, dopo alcune sgasate tra le montagne svizzere e le autostrade tedesche, ha iniziato a perdere olio e a fumare bianco. Ma purtroppo non c’è nessun nuovo Papa da annunciare e nessuna bella notizia in arrivo. Dopo alcuni controlli, sembra che CUBOTTO abbia un danno interno al motore e al momento è fermo in un’officina nelle periferie di Stoccolma.

Quello che dovrà subire CUBOTTO è quello che non vorremmo mai sentirci dire: un bel trapianto di motore.

 

 

 

 

Ma i sogni non si possono fermare e Cubotto deve arrivare a destinazione. Abbiamo bisogno di voi per rimettere Cubotto in cammino!

What is CUBOTTO?

CUBOTTO is a fantastic Mercedes camperized van Van sprinter 99 chrysler.

CUBOTTO took his first steps in Germany and landed in Italy in 2020. It’s been a long way to get to us, that took the changing of three different plates and a lot of papers to sign.

He’s not a simple van, but went through a lot of make-up that made him become a real camperized van, as cool as the ones you see on Instagram.

 

 

 

Who made CUBOTTO?

At a first glance he looks brand new as he just walked out from a showroom, but he has a more interesting story to share. Only two brave and crazy people like my friends Marta and Joffry could realize such an outstanding vehicle.

Marta, a digital nomad translator, and Jeffry, a carpenter and basketball player, crafted all the interiors, with a huge investment in terms of money and time. Their dream? Taking CUBOTTO to Finland to see the aurora borealis, for also cubotti have dreams in their pockets (or should I say in their trucks?)

 

 

 

How is CUBOTTO?

Not so well: after a few rides up and down Switzerland mountains and German autobahns he started having troubles with oil and producing white smoke. But unfortunately it was not to celebrate a new elected Pope, nor for any other good news upcoming. After some checking, it looks like CUBOTTO's engine is heavily damaged and he is currently stuck in a garage outside Stockholm.

What CUBOTTO needs to get back on track is an engine transplant.

 

 

 

 

 

But dreams can’t be stopped and CUBOTTO needs to arrive at his destination. And we need your help to see CUBOTTO on the road again!
