Update from Brian— A Personal Note on the Journey So Far
Since launching this campaign just a couple weeks ago to help save Copper Cactus Ranch, something incredible has happened—you showed up. You have raised over $21,000 online plus another $20K from call in’s and mail -in checks and I am in awe of the generosity and love pouring in. Every donation, every share, every kind message is a reflection of how vital it is to have safe, sacred spaces where men can come together in truth, freedom, and connection.
The owners, Bobby and Rich, have now stepped forward to share their story directly. What follows is a personal note from them—a reminder of how this all began, what’s at stake, and why your support means the world right now.
To everyone who has already given: thank you. You are part of something powerful.
And if you can’t give financially, please consider sharing this link. Your voice can help us reach someone who can.
Let’s protect this space together. Let’s make sure Copper Cactus Ranch continues to thrive—for this generation, and the next.
With gratitude your friend,
Brian Ramsay

A Note from Bobby and Rich — Founders of Copper Cactus Ranch
In 2017, we made a bold move. We signed a time-sensitive contract to one day purchase 40 acres of sacred desert land—a place where men who identify as men could come together in brotherhood, freedom, and healing. That dream became Copper Cactus Ranch Men’s Retreat.
Since then, we’ve worked with our own hands to build this vision—raising cabins, clearing trails, and welcoming men from all walks of life. What’s grown here is more than land—it’s a community. A place where men find peace, power, and connection in a judgment-free, clothing-optional sanctuary.
But now, everything we’ve built is at risk.
The 2017 contract locked in a purchase price—a rare opportunity in today’s market. But that opportunity expires soon. The seller, who lives in Germany, will not finance the sale and has no reason to extend the deadline. If we miss this chance, we lose the land—and the entire Ranch.
We were prepared to buy. We had financing lined up, counting on a $100,000 down payment. But with the 2025 housing market spike, lenders are pulling back. Now, we need $200,000 just to move forward.
This isn’t just about buying property. It’s about saving a space that’s already changed countless lives. We’ve seen it happen again and again—when men are given the freedom to be themselves, incredible healing unfolds.
This is our final window. If we miss it, Copper Cactus Ranch disappears.
We’re asking for your help. Whether you can give $25 or $25,000, you’ll be directly helping to preserve something sacred.
Let’s secure this land—together.
With heartfelt thanks,
Bobby Cook & Rich

Hey friends,
I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart—but also with a whole lot of excitement.
Copper Cactus Ranch, our little slice of peace in the Arizona desert, is at risk of closing its gates for good as they need to refinance their loan. They’re trying to raise $250,000 to keep it alive, and thanks to some incredibly generous friends and guests, they’ve already raised $100,000.
For those who’ve been here—you know what this place means. It’s not just a campground. It’s not just a vacation. It’s one of the rare places in the world where our community can show up as we are—no masks, no shame, no pressure to be anything but real. We’ve made lifelong friends around bonfires, shared hard truths under open skies, and held space for one another in a way the world often doesn’t.
The truth is, they’ve been fighting to keep this place going for the last 12 months.. They didn’t want to ask for help—but they can’t do it alone, so I want to be the first to step up and ask for help.
They’re not a big resort. Thry’re not backed by investors. They’re just a few people trying to hold on to something beautiful. If this place has meant something to you—or if you just believe spaces like this still matter—please consider giving what you can. Every dollar helps. Every share helps.
It’s come this far because of community.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for keeping the spirit of this place alive.
With love and gratitude
