Hey everyone, my name is Colin Hughes. Three years ago, my dad passed away from pancreatic cancer. Before he died, he told me he wanted me to have his truck — a vehicle that’s been in our family for generations. Unfortunately, after his passing, we had to go through a long and difficult legal process with my dad’s ex-wife to recover the truck. We were eventually able to get it back, but she never transferred the title to my name as the magistrate had instructed. Now, after all the court proceedings, the estate attorney is requesting the truck be returned and sold to help cover estate debts. Losing this truck would be losing one of the last tangible pieces of my dad and our family history. I’m trying to raise $3,000 to resolve this issue and keep my dad’s truck from being sold.
