Hello, my name is Trenika and I am in desperate need of help for my fur baby CoCo (4 months). We got CoCo in November from a coworker. When we got her, we noticed her doing something weird with her leg. We made an appointment with her vet, and they thought it was because she was a little underweight and suggested we feed her more. As weeks went on and she got bigger, we noticed the episodes got worse. We informed the vet, and they got her in and ran blood and bile tests. They thought it was PSS. After running the tests and them coming back normal, the vet changed her to prescribed food, gave her two medications, and referred her to a neurologist. However, after spending money on prescriptions and previous tests, I can't afford to get her the tests she needs from the neurologist so we can get her treated. Her insurance DOESN'T cover specialty visits. Yesterday, CoCo took a turn for the worse; she wouldn't eat, stand, or drink anything. I took her back to the vet, and she said it doesn't look good and she needs a neurologist ASAP. I called the 24-hour emergency vet where the neurologist is located, and they want all the money upfront before doing anything. If you have fur babies, you know how expensive these things are. This is my daughter's best friend. We love her soooo much and don't want to lose her or have to put her down. After being denied for CareCredit, my back is against the wall. So I am asking for help. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated.
