Over the past 11 months, most of you reading have enjoyed our tasty sushi and Izakaya hot dishes, whether on your lunch break, delivered to your door to share with loved ones and via our Sushi Monorail system.

The response and feedback you've graciously shared with our team has been truly heart warming. Your support pushes us forward in our mission to revive high-quality, fresh sushi on the high street in an engaging and distinctive manner, driving us to realize our dreams.

It's crucial to emphasize that we operate independently. There's no corporate giant backing us with a bottomless funds, dictating our every move, or when we need it, bailing us out….

Sadly, like numerous other hospitality businesses, we've encountered challenges due to the current climate, and we need your generous support.

After enduring a 6-month wait for our landlord to implement their new internal systems, they've now issued us not one, but three rent bills. While this is within their rights, it's presented us with the daunting task of settling 9 months' worth of rent in just 10 days. As you can imagine, this unexpected blow has left us scrambling to keep our business afloat.

We've managed to raise some funds from friends and family, but our unwavering commitment to serving you through CHUO Sushi Monorail compels us to reach out for your assistance.

But we're not just asking for help; we want to offer you something in return for your generosity.

We invite you to purchase a sushi credit, with the value entirely up to you — think of it as a gift card for yourself. The full value of your credit will be redeemable on-site over the next 3 months.

Additionally, once you've used your credit, you'll receive an ongoing discount proportional to your donation, valid until Christmas. It's our way of expressing gratitude for your support.

While we're seeking aid, we recognize that many hardworking individuals in the hospitality industry are facing immense pressures. Any funds raised beyond our target, after covering the costs of honoring the credits, will be donated to Hospitality Action, the industry's leading welfare charity.

Ongoing discounts

As you heard in the video, once your sushi credit has been used, you will have an ongoing discount until the end of the year, the tiers are as follows:

£20 - £50 = 5%

£50 - £100 = 7%

£100 - £200 = 10%

£200 - £300 = 15%

£300 - £400 = 17.5%

£400 - £500 = 20%

£500 - £750 = 22.5%

£750 - £1000 = 25%

£1000 or more = 35%

If you donate and post our campaign on your Social Media (whilst tagging @chuosushi) - you will automatically be entered into a competition with the chance to win sushi making masterclass with our amazing Head Chef and a £150 bar tab (up to 5 guests)

We don’t know what the future holds in this challenging time but please note Sushi credit codes, donations and ongoing discount codes are unique, non-refundable or transferable, even in the event of site closure. Whatever happens we'll aim to move and/or re-open CHUO and can honour credits in a later capacity.
