Hi, welcome to Christleton Pre-School — a small, Charity pre-school that’s been at the heart of our beautiful village since 1983.

Heather adored the children and loved volunteering, she always said that she felt at home with us and wanted to help build us a new building.

For over 40 years, our little pre-school has been run from the same Scout Hut, filled with laughter, love, and learning.

Since Covid 19 closed us for 10 weeks in 2020, the birth rate in Cheshire West and nationally has dropped dramatically and is only now beginning to increase. This has led to low numbers making our charity less and less viable. We hope we have survived the worse and our numbers have increased for next year but it’s a struggle. Every member of staff has already voluntarily cut their hours and pay just to help that little bit more. We do it because we love what we do — because these children mean the world to us.

Our dream is to create a purpose built, sustainable pre-school building. This would be life-changing — for our staff, for local families, and most importantly, for the children.

A new building means clean air and a safe, nurturing environment.

It means a big outdoor area for our little ones to run, play, and explore nature.

It also means longer hours and more flexibility for parents.

It means a future — one where Christleton Pre-school can keep giving children the best possible start in life.

We know how much love and care goes into what we do. Every smile, every giggle, every “I did it!” moment is what keeps us going. We do this because we love our pre-school.
