Hi, my name is Lalaine Salazar, and I’m humbly reaching out to ask for help for my beloved sister in-law, Christine Joy Navarro.

My "Ate Joy" has been in and out of the hospital for months now due to Pott’s disease (a rare form of tuberculosis that affects the spine), which severely damaged her L4 vertebra. She is in constant pain because of that condition. She recently underwent major spine surgery at Rizal Medical Center, hoping it would relieve her suffering and restore her mobility.

However, shortly after the procedure, she developed serious complications that led to Pneumonia and kidney failure. Just a few days ago, her condition worsened—she had seizures and difficulty breathing and was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Bataan St. Joseph Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

Our family is doing everything we can but our funds are quickly exhausting due to the growing medical bills and continuous treatments - $14,000 cad at the moment. We would like to transfer her to a government hospital as soon as possible for longer-term care, but we cannot proceed until her current bills are settled.
