Hello, my name is Chris. I recently moved to South Carolina, and things have not been easy, but I've gotten through most of it. Now, I find myself against the wall with no lifeline. Back in January I suffered a fall entering a Taco Bell after we had a small snowfall and neglected their walkway and I slipped and fell on ice end result is a complete and total pair of my right rotator cuff which is requiring surgery it's also making it difficult for me too work some days and resulting in me having to take a job that pays less than half of what I was making I'm currently working, but prior to the job I have now, I was out of work for quite a while. I was looking for work my car blew up; the CVT transmission went out. It would have cost thousands to fix, so I scraped some money together to buy another car. The transmission went out in that one within two weeks, which is why I'm in the situation I'm in. I walk to work every day; it's a mile each way. While trying to get a job that I could walk to, it took some time, and now I find myself two months behind in my rent and looking for $3,000. I have been working for a while and would honestly prefer a loan to this, but this is my last option. The worst part is, during the time I was looking for work, several stray dogs showed up at the house. They have no owner, so I started rehabbing them and finding them homes from my home. I already had a 16-year-old senior dog, and I have found several dogs homes. At the moment, I have two dogs at the house that I know, if I put them in the shelter, will be put down. I'm looking to save them and myself from being homeless at 51, and I hate that at my age I'm having to even ask, but without a little help, I'm literally going to lose it all. I'll have to leave behind everything I have, my memories, pack a bag of clothes, and I don't know where I'd wind up, along with surrendering the dogs to a shelter that's full and will give them two weeks.
