Save Chris & Adele From Foreclosure

Hello, Friends. Let me begin by stating that Adele and I never thought that we would be in this situation, and that we are extremely embarrassed. The plain and simple truth is, we need your help.

My web design business has been non-existent during the pandemic. Although my business seems to be improving, it cannot come fast enough to prevent foreclosure. Adele is 72, confined to a wheelchair, and has numerous other health issues.

We have been in a pandemic forbearance plan offered by our mortgage servicer since April of 2020 because we have been unable to pay our house note since then, but the forbearance plan ended on June 30.

We have spent countless hours looking into various programs, all to no avail.

UPDATE: Also, there is a very important part of our story that we neglected to mention when we originally presented our situation: our three fur-children. We have two dogs, Charlotte, who is 15 years old and Frida, who is about 12, as well as a wild-child kitty, named Zydeco. (See the new photo, above.) We love them dearly and can’t imagine being separated from them. If we lose our house, we may not be able to find an apartment that we can both afford, and which allows pets. We just cannot give our pets up.

So, it seems that our only hope of saving our home is the kindness and generosity of those of you reading this appeal.

This is what we are offering as thank-you gifts:

• For a donation of $150, a signed copy of one of Adele’s novels, “Friendship Cemetery” or “Dovie”

• For a donation of $250 or more, a one-hour psychic reading

• For a donation of $350 or more, you may choose a painting from available work. (We will provide photos to choose from.)

• For a donation of $450 or more, I will design and build a five-page website for your business or organization.

• For a donation of $500 or more, Adele will provide your book club of group with up to 10 copies of one of her novels and will perform an in-person or Zoom reading from that novel.

• For a donation of $750 or more, I will manage your business’ social media accounts for three months.

• For a donation of $1,000 or more, Adele will name a character in her next novel after you.

We will be extremely grateful for any support that you can offer.
