My name is Chloe, I am 18 years old and through no fault of my own, I am homeless.
I was taken from my abusive parents at a young age and have been handballed between NHS care facilities my whole life. As such, I have never had a permanent home and was unable to complete more than two years of secondary education. Recently I was brave enough to leave another domestic violence situation, but the cost was the roof over my head. After two weeks in emergency accomadation my dog and I have been kicked onto the streets of Melbourne with nothing but a suitcase and a tenacious hope that our story doesn't end here.
If you could kindly spare some money for food and rent so that I can continue studying my government-subsidised tafe course (Certificate IV in hospitality), find a job and get back on my feet, I would be forever grateful.
Alternately, if you can offer my dog and I cheap board in exchange for housework or child minding that would also help enormously!
