The timing of the Pandemic and the insurmountable restrictions for public health safety are threatening our favorite bar. The impending stay at home order for December 2020 in San Diego is a very serious threat to all small businesses like Cheswick’s. A permanent closure now looms in the background. As early as Monday, the wonderful team of our friends that work there will be unemployed once again and the loss of income will be devastating to Michelle.
We’re asking for small contributions from all that love and frequent the bar. I know there are so very many of us, near and far, that would want to sit in the window again. If everyone chips in enough to play “I love this bar” in the jukebox a couple times, it may be the difference between future toasts and faded memories.
Funds raised will help with rent and operations payments for the bar and private assistance to the staff only. If you can’t contribute, that’s understandable, but spreading the word, sharing the posts and the link, along with your Favorite stories will help too. Every effort would be appreciated.
