Hi.
If you are reading this you probably know me.
maybe I’ve cooked for you, or someone you know.
Perhaps you’ve seen my website recently, or checked out my profile at Pridezillas, or hired me off of Thumbtack.
I’ve been a chef for 35 years.
I’ve loved every minute of it.
I’m a workaholic, running a catering company means I have to be.
We run on thin margins to begin with.
This CV situation is coming at the worst possible time.
My Cash Reserves were at an all time low to begin with.
In ‘17 the wine country fires all but shut me down.
I had to borrow then, from my Mom, to pay my staff.
We all recovered and were humming along.
Then came ‘18, December.
Open Heart Surgery.
I was out of commission for 4 months.
Again I recovered, Physically, and Business was great.
Then came the fires of ‘19.
This time I had enough money to keep everything paid.
It was a hit, but business was generally good and I figured I was in the clear.
NOW THIS!
catering = gatherings.
My livelihood has literally ceased overnight.
To compound this problem I live in a small (950 sq. ft.) home with 2 asthmatic kids, and a 3 year old. I’m compromised as well because of my heart condition.
So going out and working as a grocery delivery guy or something for a couple months would be totally irresponsible.
$30-40 to stay viable for the next six months.
If we get good news in the next couple weeks I’ll pull this down....let’s hope!
thanks for looking.
