Save Charlie our Hero Cat
Donation protected
Hi my friends it's Earl here. So I'm not one to ever turn to asking for help but we're going though some desperate times trying to save our little boy cat Charlie. He has been the face of saving stray animals during the deep freeze of Sask winters every year for 10 years, and now he's the one who needs saving. CBC and CTV even noticed his heroics and featured his story on the news! My partner at the time Kate and I found him in February 2011 hiding under a parked car, his paws were frozen to the ground and part of his tail had froze off. But we nursed him back to health and since then telling Charlie's story has helped saved so many furry lives.
Unfortunately, the past 5 months Charlie's been in an out of the hospital and this most recent time has kept there for over twice as long going on 10 days now. He has blockages and is struggling to pee without the help of a catheter due to spasms around his bladder. Issues like these spasms apparently take time to subside but often eventually due. So it's a waiting game and we're worried our funds are going to run out soon. Sadly Charlie does not qualify for insurance due to prior health problems from when he was younger. Any help would be a blessing and appreciated more than you can know. We don't have kids and Charlie is just like a son to us and is the sweetest most loving cat ever.
Much love and thanks, Earl & Kate ❤️
