Please help me save my dog from being killed. This is Ceaser, and from the photos provided I feel like everyone can see that this is a friendly loving dog. My family and I have had Ceaser since May of 2023. Recently, Ceaser escaped from our yard, running out and having his own adventures, and following behind him our other dog Milka who we recently adopted as well. Both Ceaser and Milka have been very close, enough for Milka to trust him as they went around our city's streets. As they ran around the city, Ceaser and Milka were eventually caught by Inland Valley Humane Society's animal control. Atleast two people called about him, claiming that he was aggressive and went on to bite two people. When asked about the injury, only one person had sustained a minor injury. No bleeding, no agony, no ambulance, not even the type of injury you would even go to the doctor for. There is no doubt that these people had done something to provoke him, Ceaser is not an aggressive dog and has never bit anyone let alone bite someone unprovoked. Because of these greedy people, we risk people pressing charges, court fees, lawyer fees, and insane fees for insurance and bond for Ceaser just to bail him out to be back home. If we were to go to court, we would be charged 10 dollars everyday for however long they hold Ceaser in a cage with black metal fences and a concrete floor outside in the sheer cold during this winter. Everyone knows that anything taken to court will last for months to years. For a case like ours, none of them care. It's either watch him die or fight a battle we can't even begin to afford. I called and asked if i could watch him be put down, WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY 200 DOLLARS JUST FOR ONE OF US TO STAND BEHIND A GLASS. My dad can't afford any of the amount of money asked of us. We would be charged 10 dollars everyday because they are "taking care" of Ceaser. For a month is already 300, going through court? It would be 1800 dollars for six months to the pound as we wait for the case to proceed. The lawyer fees, the risk of being sued by greedy people who's statement LITERALLY SENDS MY DOG TO DEATH BY LABELLING HIM AS AGGRESSIVE AND DANGEROUS. They don't care and that shelter does not care him or the fact they're giving him an unjust death. We were atleast able to get Milka back, with the investigator at the scene doing his best to lower the fees which was 600 for Milka WHO DIDNT EVEN DO ANYTHING BUT FOLLOW CEASER SHE DIDNT EVENN FIGHT BACK. THEY SAID HE WAS AGGRESSIVE SINCE HE DIDNT SUBMIT TO BEING TAKEN??? We are trying to buy time as they pressure us make a decision this week, to either try and get him back and go to court or to simply put him down. Please help us get Ceaser back home, I refuse to have someone else die because of money. Another to die because some greedy guy decided he wants to get a buck out of my family. Any amount of money would be substantial and would give us a chance to defend Ceaser's name. We're trying our best to prove his innocence, even going as far to check camera footage at the place of the incident. This is the first gofundme I've ever made, and making something like this makes me feel shame and emberassment, but I can't say I did my best if I didnt do everything I could
