Save Cas's Vision: Critical for Her Career

Hello everyone. I am reaching out to ask for your support of my friend and former student, Cas Lomas. Cas has been diagnosed with Uveitis, a rare and serious eye disease that can lead to blindness if left untreated. She has spent months at a variety of doctors, trying to figure out her sudden vision problems and other health issues. Initial medicines and interventions proved unsuccessful, and she has been informed she will need to go on the chemotherapy drug Methotrexate for months, possibly a year, in order to prevent going blind. Cas is a tattoo artist apprentice, and obviously, her sight is critical for her continued survival and livelihood.

This entire ordeal is overwhelming and scary, and Cas does not have a family network to provide any financial or emotional support during her recovery. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to provide Cas with a safety net to pay her expenses while on chemotherapy should she be unable to work due to illness and exhaustion.
