Save Casper: Kitten with FeLV & Heart Murmur Needs You

Hi I’m Casper, my mom picked me out after months of searching and then found me! Wow, I’m pretty special! Out of all the kitties in the whole world she picked me! I was very underweight and tinier than most but she didn’t give up on me! I have a big brother named Bird, he is so cool and shares all his toys with me. Then one day, I went to this big office where the give you treats and they give you these things called shots, but it was okay because my mom had me wrapped up, I was a purrito. But then, my mom talked to my vet and she started crying. The vet said I have a thing called feline leukemia and a grade 3 heart murmur. I guess I’m a really special kitty because my mom kept hugging me more than normal. I have to have a xray of my heart so I can do this thing called “neutering” and it’s extra expensive because I’m such a special kitty plus I get to go get more treats so it’s cool. My mom doesn’t think so because she works two jobs and can’t afford it but I don’t know what money is, I’m a kitten. Maybe if I bring her some toys she will be happy again, I know she is really stressed out over me being healthy I feel fine! But I haven’t seen my brother bird for a while, she tells me she doesn’t want me to get sick, and I can’t go outside anymore.
Casper was born with a pretty severe heart murmur and can’t be put under to do the basic things to keep cats healthy, Thoracic radiography which costs $450 at the local vet, plus an a higher raised fee to have him neutered because of his heart murmur $380 plus further treatment for leukemia so he can stay healthy and hopefully continue to have a longer life. I’m working 2 jobs as is and have had to separate him from bird in hopes he wouldn’t get sicker.
the original breeder didn’t know the mom was feline leukemia positive and I’m too invested in this kitten to just give up on him. My heart breaks watching him not be able to live his best life because he is such an affectionate and unique cat. If you can find it in your heart to help save Casper and give him a good life- anything helps. Without treatment/ Loss of appetite, Progressive weight loss, Poor coat condition, Enlarged lymph nodes, Persistent fever, Pale gums, Inflammation of the gums (gingivitis) and mouth, Infections of the skin, urinary bladder, and upper respiratory tract, Persistent diarrhea, Seizures, behavior and other neurological disorders and Reproductive failure.
